Rectangular Callout: We collect sod orders throughout the week. We place our order with our supplier no later than noon on Thursday. Sod usually arrives Friday morning. For the convenience of our customers, we will collect names & phone numbers and advise our customers when the sod arrives.

Rectangular Callout: Q: What is the size of a roll of sod? A: Our sod is 2 feet wide by 5 feet long = 10 square feet Q: How much does one roll of sod cost? A: Picked up at Tom’s each roll is $2.99. Over 100 rolls? Cost per roll decreases to $2.89 if picked up at Tom’s. Please ask for a quote on orders larger than 100 rolls. Q: How often does sod need to be watered? A:You must water daily, unless mother nature helps you out with rain Keep the sod moist until the roots start to knead. The warmer the weather, the fast the sod will knead and the more water it will require. Be sure to pay close attention to the edges of turf that 'butt' up next to concrete such as walkways and driveways. These edges will dry out more easily and need to be watered (sometimes by hand) to get enough water to prevent drying out. The edges along flower beds pose this same problem, as they are more exposed to the air, so keep your eyes open and water diligently. After 3 weeks or so, you can check the squares by grabbing a handful of blades and gently try to lift one up. If the roots are taking hold, it will be solid to the ground and all will be going as planned.
